Baku said three people died as a result of a mine explosion in Karabakh

At the end of September 2020, fighting resumed in Nagorno-Karabakh, which became a continuation of a long-running conflict and resulted in civilian casualties. The parties attempted a ceasefire several times, but the tripartite agreement reached on the night of 10 November was successful. With the mediation of Moscow, Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed to cease fire altogether and exchange the captives and corpses of the dead. Yerevan transferred to Baku a part of the Aghdam region, as well as the Kelbajar and Lachin regions, which had been under the control of the NKR, which has not been recognized since 1994. In addition, Russian peacekeepers were deployed to the region.
