Donbas Ammo Depot goes up in Flames

This morning, as yet another one of Putin’s ammunition storage facilities caught fire, explosions lit up the early morning sky over Russian-occupied Donbas.

As the dawn rose on Monday, footage shot on the eastern outskirts of the city of Donetsk showed smoke and flames consuming a row of severely damaged houses. Multiple explosions were also visible.

After explosions at sites around the seized Crimea, which according to Ukraine have seriously harmed Russia’s ability to fight, this is simply the most recent weapons stockpile to catch fire.

Putin’s ‘exhausted’ soldiers are currently finding it difficult to advance, according to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War, who predict that his invasion will soon come to an end.

In the meantime, as what was intended to be a few days-long “special military operation” has turned into a nearly six-month conflict, Ukrainian leaders say they are confident in their abilities to wear out Russia’s army and compel it to flee.

The Donetsk explosion has been confirmed, and according to Russian official media, Ukraine is to blame. However, Kyiv’s soldiers are alleged to have attacked “warehouses,” with no indication of a connection to the armed forces.

Although Ukraine hasn’t officially claimed responsibility for the strike, it fits a pattern in which major transit hubs, command centers, and storage facilities for Russian weapons are destroyed to slow down or even stop Russian progress.
