European Parliament to support Moldova’s path towards European integration

At the summit held in Brussels on 23 June last year, the heads of state and government of the European Union approved the granting of candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova to join the union. In October, Moldova hosted the first meeting of the European integration commission, which discussed the need for reforms in various fields and called for the creation of 35 working groups to bring local legislation to European standards.
