Football club withdraws from Turkey championship after earthquake

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck southeastern Turkey on Monday morning. According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, it has become the most powerful since 1939. In the afternoon of the same day, another 7.6 earthquake occurred. According to the latest data, more than 24.6 thousand people lost their lives. After hundreds of aftershocks, the tremors were felt in 10 provinces of the country and neighboring countries, including Syria.
