The Russian Ambassador and the SCO Secretary General discussed the expectations regarding the activities of the organization.

SCO is an international organization founded in 2001. It includes India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Observer countries – Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran and Mongolia, partner countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Nepal, Turkey and Sri Lanka. At the SCO summit held in Samarkand, memorandums on granting the status of dialogue partners to Egypt and Qatar were signed. Bahrain, Maldives, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Myanmar will also receive dialogue partner status. RATS SCO is headquartered in Tashkent.
