The number of people who lost their lives in the earthquake in Syria exceeded 700

A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck southeast Turkey on Monday morning, making it the most severe earthquake since 1939, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. According to the latest data, 2316 people died, about 13.3 thousand people were injured. While damage was reported in many parts of Syria, tremors were also felt in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
